2024 Summer Clinic Guildline

Our mission is to develop well-rounded and skilled volleyball players through a focus on the fundamentals of the game. We believe that a strong foundation in the basics is essential for players to excel at higher levels of competition. Our coaches are dedicated to providing a positive, supportive, and challenging environment that encourages growth and development.

All Volleyball players learns and develops at their own rate. While some players may pick up skills quickly, others may require more time and practice to develop their technique and abilities. As coaches, our goal is to provide a positive and supportive environment that allows each player to progress at their own pace. We will work with each player individually to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and provide personalized feedback and guidance to help them improve. With patience, dedication, and hard work, every player has the potential to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

Foundations
Assessments 01

Step 1 - Assessments

We assess all players from beginners to advanced players to make sure their foundation is correct. By assessing a player's current level of skill and understanding of the fundamentals, coaches can identify areas where the player needs to improve. This allows coaches to tailor their training programs to the specific needs of each player, helping them to develop a strong foundation and reach their full potential. Experienced Players will move quickly thru our foundational trainings.

Foundations 02

Step 2 - Foundations

Proper footwork and foundation is the building block for developing great players. Without the proper foundation, balance, technique and delivery will not be at the maximum effectiveness. Consistency is key when building a foundation for volleyball players. Make sure that players are practicing the fundamentals regularly and that they are using the same technique every time. This will help to develop muscle memory and ensure that players are executing the skills correctly.

Technique 03

Step 3 - Technique

Our goal is to instill a deep understanding of the fundamental techniques of volleyball, including footwork, arm swing, body positioning, and communication. By emphasizing the importance of proper technique, we aim to help players build a strong foundation for their skills, develop consistency and accuracy, and reduce the risk of injury.

Drills 04

Step 4 - Drills

Volleyball drills are designed to improve specific skills, such as passing, serving, hitting, and blocking. By practicing these skills repeatedly through drills, players can develop the muscle memory and technique needed to perform them consistently during games. Volleyball drills also help improve players' fitness and endurance. Many drills require quick movements and changes of direction, which help players build strength, agility, and cardiovascular endurance. Volleyball is a team sport, and drills help players develop their communication and teamwork skills. Many drills require players to work together to complete a task or achieve a goal, which build trust and understanding with their teammates.
